Hartlepool United are delighted to announce the signing of Oliver Finney. The midfielder joins on a permanent deal from Crewe Alexandra.
A product of the Alex's youth system, Finney signed a professional deal with Crewe in 2016 before heading to Nanwich Town on loan. Upon returning to the club, Finney made his professional debut in May 2017 and enjoyed a further loan spell at Halesowen Town in the 2017/18 season.
Known as a goalscoring midfielder, Finney adds dynamism to the Pools midfield and becomes another deadline addition for Keith Curle's side.
Finney said: "I'm buzzing to be here. There's a lot of work to do, but there's no reason that this squad can't kick on. The quality here is plain to see."
Curle added: "Bringing Oliver in is a great bit of business. He's the sort of midfielder we've wanted, and I know the quality he'll bring and goals he'll score will be vital."
